Don't Ask Don't Tell Update

We blogged about it last week and today a federal judge has issued a worldwide injunction stopping enforcement of the "don't ask, don't tell" policy.  The ban on openly gay troops has been around for seventen years.  This is long overdue and a great victory for gay rights.

U.S. Department of Justice attorneys have 60 days to appeal, but it's possible that they let the judges ruling stand.
